Focus 1 and 2

Check tag strip TS22A (near the gun) at regular intervals. Contacts can become lose and cause excessive heat. This is not noticed until a Focus V inhibit is induced. And the tag strip disintegrates and falls apart in a number of brown brittle pieces!

According to TSD the focus current must be tuned for minimum Radiation leakage and maximum output. This measurement requires a device that can measure the quotient of output and leakage.

A more simple and fast method is to setup a small field and place a measuring device on the floor. Now tune 1R, 1T, F1, F2 for maximum output (2R 2T at 0 Amp)

Re-tuning Focus current is unusual.
