- B1 field from a loop coil for 8.5, 64 and 298 MHz (i.e. 0.2, 1.5 and 7 Tesla) Clearly visible is the wave-like regime at further distance from the loop element for higher frequencies. Also clear is the reduction of near-field range with increasing frequency.

- B1+ field from a loop coil, microstrip element and the radiative antenna at 298 MHz (7 Tesla). Clearly visible is the asymmetric behaviour of the loop coil and the microstrip versus efficient plane wave generation of the radiative antenna.
